Nooooo, trust me on this, Owl: if you watch historical drama expecting it to be historically accurate, you are always going to be disappointed! The trick is to not care too much about things like character ages and events being changed by the writers - if you want 100% accuracy, that's what a non-fiction book is for. Also, I adore Rome's Caesar - it took a few episodes for me to start liking him but now I can't see anyone else as him. He's got all that cunning and self-assurance, and the breathtaking arrogance that leads to his downfall.
