I hope I didn't come across as that desperate

The adjacent group's technician (the really awesome talkative one who leaves next week) and I were having our daily hour-long gossip when she mentioned how she had no friends living nearby and no social life, and how difficult it is making new friends. My response was "YES YES I'M IN EXACTLY THE SAME POSITION! Do you want my mobile number and maybe one weekend we can meet up and do something?"

Making friends post-university feels just as awkward as dating.



I've realised I'm getting married in exactly one month.
