Oct. 21st, 2010 11:35 amI should not have bothered getting out of bed today.
Woke up this morning after sleeping on my back all night to help the trapped nerve in my shoulder (result: shoulder not quite in as much agony, back muscles are). Made it to the bus stop and started feeling nauseous, so tried to walk back home but didn't quite make it and passed out in the middle of the big intersection outside the apartment (on the pavement rather than the road, at least). Came to and found it had started to rain, two white van men shouting at me to see if I was okay, and a very sweet concerned man phoning an ambulance. Great. At least I've passed out in public so many times before that I no longer get embarrassed by it.
Bleh. Slept for a few more hours but I'm still feeling wobbly. More worryingly, I'm down to my last two ibuprofen, and there's no chocolate or biscuits, nor is there any milk for tea, and I don't think it's wise for me to try driving to the supermarket. Think this justifies a call to the emergency services?
Bloody wife, never around when he's actually needed...
