One year closer to my free bus pass and winter fuel allowance

Back to catching up on the daily (har) meme tomorrow, but I wanted to say thank you to everyone who sent me birthday wishes - they all meant so much to me, and I'm really, really touched. It was a bit of a quiet day (not that that's a bad thing after the few days of mother-in-law drama I had over Christmas!), but you guys really made it feel special. And now I feel rather terrible for being so shit at remembering other people's birthdays. I will try to make 2014 the year that I pay attention to my notifications, I promise!

And I got so many lovely things from various people! bauble wrote an adorable and rather hot ficlet with tickling and wrestling and Eames getting tied up that made my morning, and fififolle came up with mammoths with tattoos and feelings... IN SPAAAACE, which really is the very best kind of crack. And there was lovely, lovely art! the_little_owl drew an amazing picture of her mischievous woodland spirit Qui-Gon having fun with the new forester (the happy, tail-wagging dog! The tiny owl accomplice! <3), and beili painted what is possibly my favourite subject ever: Tom Hardy's magnificent hairy chest! Thank you so, so much to all of you, you have no idea how happy all those lovely things made me and I feel utterly spoiled. <3

I also got a few more things in the post while I was away - thank you to izzardwizzard and recrudescence for their lovely cards, and especially alby_mangroves for the gorgeous drawing of Seal Prince, which she'd better hurry up and put online so everyone can marvel at it you can all gaze at in admiration here.
