4. This will create a never-ending cycle of icon squee. Whoo!

I first saw Star Wars when I was six, in completely the wrong order, and fell in love with it despite not really knowing what on earth was going on. I didn't much like Han because I thought he was rude, and I wasn't pleased that Luke (whom I rather fancied because of his lovely blond hair) didn't end up with the princess. No, I'm not sure exactly what part of THEY ARE BROTHER AND SISTER my 6-year-old brain didn't understand.

Hierapolis! This is from one of my photos I took on last year's visit to Turkey. It's the ruins of a Roman spa town perched on the top of the top of the Pamukkale travertines. We got there late afternoon just as everyone was leaving, so we had the whole site almost to ourselves. It was lit by the setting sun and simply beautiful.

I love Titus Pullo... along with every other character in Rome, right down to the forum newsreader. Pullo is such a big loveable teddy bear that you can even forgive the occasional homicidal rampage.

I became a Merlin fan very reluctantly, after laughing at everyone who told me it wasn't as bad as I first assumed. It's silly, but it's fun - and it gets surprisingly dark and moving later on. I love the relationship between Merlin and Arthur, though I don't have a huge urge to slash them (any more than the show itself does ;D) - I think they're great as they are.

Liam's hands. Utterly delicious. :D I used to have a version of this with a green apple but got bored with it and fancied a change. It's my default because I've had it for such a long time. And because it's Liam's delicious giant paws.

I think Ewan McGregor gets lovelier as he ages, but there is something to be said for Young Adorable Ewan. Look at that face - it makes you want to take him home and feed him milk and cookiesand then have him tied up and tortured :D
