Art: birthday sketches! [Multifandom]

[motetus]

A very happy birthday to osprey_archer! I hope you have a lovely day and that there is lots of delicious cake. I have no cake for you as it doesn't go through the internet very well, but instead here is a little drawing for you of the gorgeous Giulia Farnese:

I also have a few more birthday sketches (Inception, Star Wars and The Eagle) that I put up on Tumblr recently, so here they are for everyone smart enough to stay away from that dreadful place:

Arthur inspecting (and approving of!) Eames' new facial hair for fruityshirts:

Lando Calrissian looking like such a rakish and charming scoundrel that he makes you go "Han who?" for sneaqui:

Esca and his nosy horsie for sineala:

Also! I am working my way through that palette meme that's been doing the rounds and enjoying it a lot, so if anyone wants to request something for it, go right ahead and do that in the comments! :) It's quite simple, the picture explains it all, although it may be a while before I work my way through all of them. So far the characters and palettes requested have been Arthur, Eames, Ariadne, Fischer, Saito, Hilarion and Marcus, and #1, 5, 8, 9, 11, 13 and 14, so anything aside from those is fair game. Especially if it's a non-Inception/Sutcliff character! Make me draw Dark Knight Trilogy stuff, yes, or anything else, really.

What an incredibly talented artist you are! I love La Farnese's smouldering look, and Lando's self-assured smile (with the halo-like composition, hee!).

[motetus.livejournal.com]

Aw, now you have made me blush! Thank you very much indeed!

(Lando has such a winning smile! It could easily make ignore the high probability that he's going to hand me over to Darth Vader to be tortured)

EEEEEE, Giulia Farnese! Ha, she looks like the Pope has just mussed up her hair, and she is contemplating sexy, sexy vengeance. (Although possibly to the Borgias, vengeance of all kinds counts as sexy?)

I also really like the Lando portrait, because he has that dashing highwayman sort of look to him. I wonder if he and Han ever have scoundrel-offs.

[motetus.livejournal.com]

I'm not sure any of the Borgia family can do vengeance without looking extremely sexy? Hm, now I think about it, the levels of sexy vengeance undertaken appears to correlate with the levels of hair fabulousness, at least for Cesare and Lucrezia. But does fabulous hair cause terrible acts of vengeance, or is it the other way around? Someone should do a study on this.

Personally, I think a scoundrel-off between those two would be the hottest thing ever. Leia would probably just roll her eyes a lot though.

[osprey-archer.livejournal.com]

Ha, and I could totally see her teasing Han afterward. "I really think Lando does the sexy space scoundrel thing better. Maybe we got married too hastily, before I reviewed all the space scoundrel options..."

I am just commenting to once again thank you for the horsie. Horsieeeeee. And, um, Esca.

[motetus.livejournal.com]

You are most welcome! In my head that's the horse they left behind when escaping from the Seal People - it had a rest then caught up with them eventually, because HORSIES DON'T DIE.

Very pretty art pieces!

[motetus.livejournal.com]

Thank you very much! :)

*runs around flailing* All these pics make me so happy. I don't know who the first girl is, but her eyes, omg.
They all make me so happy. Lando is just perfect. And I don't think I need to say how stare-able Esca and his horse are!

Oh! I have heard of that meme. Fascinating palettes. I had a little look at your tags, and if you find yourself at a loose end sometime, and you fancy drawing Lucius Vorenus in palette #16....

[osprey-archer.livejournal.com]

Lucius Vorenus pictures! I second the motion!

[motetus.livejournal.com]

It shall be done!

[motetus.livejournal.com]

Thank you! <3 Yeah, Lando is the best - I imprinted on guys wearing capes when I was very very young and never really grew out of it, so I've always found him hot. Glad they make you happy! :)

Yaaay, Vorenus! I will happily draw him in all his scowly gloriousness for you!

[sneaqui.livejournal.com]

You already know how I feel about Lando, you glorious creature. <3 <3 <3 <3

BUT HOW HAVE I NOT YET SEEN YOUR ARTHUR AND BEARDY!EAMES??! I love the adoring looks on Arthur's face and Eames' 'Who? Me??' facial expression! And the hair on Eames' chest I SEE YOU THERE. Ugh. Glorious.

[motetus.livejournal.com]

Hooray, glad you didn't miss the delicious beardy goodness! There should be far more fic and art about Eames' magnificent facial sproutings (and the terrible rash it leaves on Arthur's thighs), oh yes there should be.

[ohfreckle.livejournal.com]

Ahhh, so lovely. Arthur is so in love with Eames's beard (and so am I).

[motetus.livejournal.com]

Thanks! Who could not be in love with a beard that warm and fluffy-looking? And as much as I love all the fanart there is out there of Arthur scowling at Eames (it is such a pretty scowl), I feel there needs to be more where he's amused or even a little charmed by Eames' antics. :D
