motetus: (inception / eames fist)

My second [livejournal.com profile] i_reversebang art prompt, which was claimed by the very excellent [livejournal.com profile] bauble, who took on my rough sketch with no hint of any background ideas, and even less in the way of any story ideas, save that at some point Eames should get bent over that lovely motorcycle and fingered, preferably with Arthur leaving his gloves on. What a good thing she and I have similar interests. So, the fic!

Fic Title: Command and Control
Author: [livejournal.com profile] bauble
Pairing(s): Arthur/Eames
Rating: NC-17
Word Count: 5000
Warnings: Graphic sex, role playing, dominance and submission, dirty talk, violence
Summary: It turns out that Eames finds the combination of Arthur and a life-threatening situation rather arousing.

And a bonus night/Copenhagen/painting theft version! Unfortunately my second author had to drop out, but I'd started the illustration for her story and liked it enough to keep going. I think I'm happier with the style and the faces of the day version, but the background was a lot of fun to do, and I think I learned an important point about colouring skin in a night setting, which is: don't bother trying, go and draw something easier instead.

Wow, you're so industrious! And so are your boys! I love the night scene: the use of colours and light, and I think it adds to the criminal ongoings, because everybody expects thieves to be noctural creatures.

Industrious? I'm afraid not - these are the only things I've done in the past months! Work and okay, a little bit of video gaming, but most definitely work has sapped all my energy and imagination lately - haven't ground to a halt, but it's slowed me down to a snail's pace. But thank you! I agree that night is probably better for nicking stuff (or maybe Eames' ego is so huge he wants people to see and admire his perfectly executed robbery?), but I wish I'd figured out the style of the day version early enough to use it for the night, and planned the lighting more carefully. Well, just have to try more night paintings until it gets better, yes? :D
