Yay, halfway through the alphabet! I'm taking a break from the Star Wars universe for the next couple of letters, starting with:

M is for... Morgana

Morgana (Merlin), work-safe

Horse legs and forest floors can suck my balls, I have no patience for them and care not that they look half-assed.

Ah, lovely! This lady is up to nothing good, that's for certain!
(And don't worry about the tricky horse legs: on first sight they're perfect, and after that, everybody will be looking at Morgana's face anyway.)

She's never up to any good, that girl. And how inept are the castle guards - you'd think someone would have spotted her creeping out ever night on a huge white horse.

I think the hooves and the bit of leg above them could be better. Finding references of horse legs wasn't a problem, it was finding one of them with that kind of lighting that I struggled with.

I agree: castle security in Camelot is completely rubbish. (Or the logic of the screen writers is.)

That's lovely! I think the horse's legs look perfectly fine, not at all half-assed. :)

Thanks! It's my first time drawing horse legs, I'm allowed to be sloppy.

She looks spooky and haunted and gorgeous (I hate her), and I love the trees. And the horse's legs look pretty damn good to me, considering horses are bitches to get right. The shadow underneath the hose could be more solid, though?

You can fake more detail on forest floors/other annoyingly bitty nature scenes by picking a few spots to refine a little, with highlights and sharp points and a few individually painted leaves/shreds of leaves. And in this case fog to obscure some of it suddenly makes detailed bits look way better. Fog is the most awesome thing ever.

Yeah, my inherent laziness is to blame for the forest floor looking rubbish. I left it until the end and at that point my brain said BORED NOW NEXT DRAWING. Next time I have to learn to do the parts I dislike first. Or make everything foggy, I like that idea.

Aw, thanks! Bit of an old one that makes me wince when I see how many things look dodgy, but I'm glad you like it! :)
