Okay, here we go!!!

OMG!! I think you might have heard the squeak fly all the way up the M1!!!!!

OMG!! That is just so adorable! It's so Rob!!!

The details are amazing! The tea, the cookies, the crumbs! And I'm sure that's some of my actual pictures in his book. And the sketch of the sketch!!! And the jumper! And stripey socks that deliberately don't match! And the laces undone. And the wedding ring!!!! And the mess!!! And the lip ring!!! It's so utterly Rob!!!!!!!!

Oh, and the icons!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love it, thank you. And next time I see you you'll get the biggest bar of chocolate I can find!!!!!!!

My, with that kind of excessive exclamation mark use you must really like it. ;)

Heh, yes, I did indeed trawl through your flickr gallery to nick ideas for the book (did the gibbet give it away? ;) ), and that sketch Rob's working on is also from one of your photos. I like working little things like that into illustrations.

Glad it made you happy! :D

Hmm, yes. That was a just a tad excessive. There'll be an exclamation mark drought for several months now.

I recognised the picture that he's drawing and then the gibbet was the final clue. And when I was on Flickr I saw that someone had been viewing certain pictures :o) I love those details - it makes it even more personal to me.

Glad it made you happy! :D

It made me very happy. It's my computer background now and I just can't stop staring at it. It's exactly how I picture Rob, especially the mess and the ill-matching clothes :o)

Ah, the artist in the corner! And he has the most needed equipment - not the pencils and the eraser, but coffee and cookies!
I like the fact that you used hatching here on Rob and the background. That fits to the sketch he's doing.

Exactly - tea and biscuits is what fuels my artistic rampages. Can't draw without it.

Thanks! The hatching thing is something I haven't tried with digital until now - I like the look of it but it's not as easy controlling the strokes as it is with paper and pencil.

Very nice! I love the jumper, and his drawing, and his hair. Beautiful work!

Thanks! It is a terrible colour combination, but that jumper does look oddly appealing on him.

That's adorable. I love all the little details too, like the page turned over and the crumbs on the floor. And he's a total slob. Oh, Rob. :) Awesome job!

Stealing the icons and will credit. Thank you!

Thanks! He's such a mess, isn't he? Michael has more patience than me - I'd have pointed him to the vacuum cleaner long ago. And as for folding nice hardback book pages down...

But he's Rob so we forgive everything. ;D

Brilliant! I may join in with the exclamation mark overuse. !!! You've done a great job there.

Yay, thanks! :D I think I'm getting over my hatred of drawing Ewan now. He's hard to dislike when he's so damn cute.

It's just a neat and charming pose -- liked the crumbs there at the bottom and the spiral notebook.

It's referenced from an authentic Ewan pose, that's why it's so cute.

The mess on the floor is not anywhere near as bad as the one in my current drawing. Sith do not vacuum.

... open it and play with it and ogle it, so we two can bond. Thank you thank you!!!!

Oh good! It arrived much quicker than I thought it would. Have fun with it, and don't forget you'll need to download and install the driver - you can find it here.

I'm actually mightily relieved you've got it, because I realised just after I posted it that I had been incredibly stupid when I wrote "PHOTOSHOP + CRACK" all over the CD. Had nightmares about customs opening it up and Adobe's lawers handing me a lawsuit. I'm an idiot.

Yes, it was fast! When I'm back in town, I shall install the driver and mess around with it *sharpens brain --- memo to self: eat a lot of fish like I had on Sunday and that ought to work*

... the drivers installed. I am sending the money today by PPal for this marvelous, shiny new thing.

Very cool. Love the drawing pad and how he's just hanging out, relaxing.

Thanks! He's looking a lot more relaxed than I do when I'm drawing - hunched over the tablet, scowling ferociously and turning the air blue.

What a wonderful portrait! First, the purple and red stripes are so delightfully dazzling :D. You managed to get so much of Rob's personality into the portrait. His interests, habits, and tastes, including his amazing colors :), are all there. In addition, he looks adorable :).

I am snagging an icon (with credit, of course)

Thank you so much! :D I had a huge amount of fun drawing Rob's clutter and teasing out his personality with it - I'm very glad you like it!
