Probably not the right place to say this - my computer's behaving badly and I can't face waiting for it to load all the links again - but I wanted to praise your artwork for Chosen Man, which I've just read.

The picture is fabulous, and not at all inclined to foster armour-fetishes, nor delirium around red-crowned Roman soldiers, no sirree.

Thank you so much! I'm very glad to hear you appreciated all that delightful armour. Here's a tip: if you ever wish to rid yourself of an armour fetish, try drawing it. You go from "whee, look at all this pretty Roman stuff, we are going to have the best time ever painting it!" to "FUCK YOU STUPID FIDDLY BITS OF METAL I CAN'T BE BOTHERED LOOKING UP THE NAME OF" in a matter of seconds.

But then I drew more Roman armour for another fandom, so I guess it's a bit like the pain of childbirth and forgotten after a while?
